It Is Well

Writer's picture: KamiKami

Recently, we reached out to you with an urgent request about needing three new wells. The Dominican Republic is facing hotter and drier conditions this summer, so the demand for water increased!

I’m happy to report that we had an overwhelming response and raised over $28,000!

Because of generous donors like you, all three wells have been funded! In fact, at the time of this writing, one has already been drilled.

These new wells will provide an additional source of much needed water for our water plants in Doña Ana, Fondo Negro and Mella.

You made it possible to move quickly and drill these much-needed wells so that people were not left without water. These wells will be a foundational part of the water plants for years to come.

Rest assured that each well will be properly maintained. Your investment will not be wasted.

In the next few weeks, we look forward to deploying a team to drill the well in Mella. Be sure to check our Facebook or Instagram pages to see your donations at work!

Thank you for making a tangible and immediate difference in the lives of so many people.
