Golf Tournament Was Great Success for Clean Water
On Monday, October 3rd, 2016, Water@Work Ministry held its THIRD Annual Clean Water-to-Living Water Golf Tournament. The event was held at Laurel Springs Golf Course in Duluth, Georgia and all funds raised are going to support the Dominican Republic-based, clean water ministry effort.
Eleven teams participated this year in a ‘best ball’ tournament that began after a luncheon on the clubhouse patio. The golfers and the event were blessed with a perfect fall day for golf.
Charles Gray, the event Chairman, once again accomplished the ‘impossible’, putting together this great event with the strong volunteer support of Angie O’Farrell, Sue Flaim, Joy McLeod, and others.
Money was raised through team fundraising efforts and through the selling of raffle tickets. And at the end of the event, prizes were given away.
Notable prize winners –
Matthew Bullard won four Falcons tickets to raising the most money
Stan Dahlby and Rich McLeod both won 4 day/3 night vacations to one of fifty vacation destinations
Attention Event Attendees –
